The shaker is a configurable tool:

  1. the microword format

  2. the micro-program of the assembly instructions

  3. the dependencies of the assembly instructions

Using the shaker it's possible to evaluate different architectures

Shaking tipical benchmark, the Dirac operator for example, you can:

  1. estimate the lenght of the program ==> estimation of execution time

  2. check if the design has hardware bottleneck
